Oh Tannenbaum

Took the Christmas trees to the recycle spot early this morning.

Tried to take a picture of the trees making new friends with the other ones there, but it was too dark still at 6am. (I get a lot done in the wee hours of the morning and I like it that way.)

Somewhat of a sad ending to the holiday season - setting the tree to pasture. At least she has her tree friends around her. Sure did make my vehicle smell nice on the trip.....love the smell of pine - reminds me of Colorado, mountains, fresh air and beautiful scenary.

Happy New Year!

First flower bouquet of 2009.

Quite a beautiful way to bring in the new year.

I love vibrant colors......notice the Ron Burns dog prints in the background? I love his work and his use of color. (I need to make a special blog post just on his work......)

These flowers look lovely in the room and on the table.

Purple roses, orange/red Gerbera daisies, lime green flowers, etc. -great mix.

Thank you ksw - the love of color and flowers are other commonalities we share.

I probably should change out the Autumny placemats/napkins, but I simply love these colors.

What are January colors? Silver, grey and blue come to mind.
